At that time, during my second year of high school, I enrolled in a specialized program known as the gifted computer program, which required our participation in the National Software Contest (NSC) competition annually. Interested in creating a game project, I approached Bright (Jirajate Jantarawong) since both of us shared a passion for indie games. Together, we brainstormed the concept of developing a Fez-like parody game, centered around a core mechanic involving rotation and puzzle-solving. This created Dorothea, making my first project using Unity.

DEVELOPMENT PROCESS / TOOLS

During that period, I didn't know how to use Unity yet as I understand that artists typically do not engage extensively with engines, assuming such responsibilities fall within programmers. However, as production progressed, it became apparent that art assets management was becoming a bottleneck for Bright. Consequently, I stepped in to assist.

Conclusion

In retrospect, considering the project from 6~7 years ago, I can't remember any decisions I've made, making it difficult to provide insightful commentary on the rationale behind some of the method I've used in this game project. However, I can affirm that this project served as my passion for game development. I am immensely grateful to Bright for choosing to torture himselfon this journey alongside me.

Oh, and for some reason I also did the soundtrack for the game?
